Plan of Salvation (The Romans Road)

 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  - Romans 6:23

The payment we earn for doing wrong is spiritual death, but God offers free life through Jesus. 

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

God showed His great love by sending Jesus to die for us even before we turned back to Him. 

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9

You receive salvation when you truly believe Jesus rose from the dead and accept Him as Lord 

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13

Anyone who asks the Lord for rescue and forgiveness will receive it. 

Here is a simple prayer of salvation based on the verses from Romans:

"Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and have fallen short of Your glory. I believe that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. I confess my sins to You, ask for Your forgiveness, and accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your love and for the gift of salvation. Amen."
